First Lap Rush is the exhibition showcasing the work of first-semester art students at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano. This event features projects and artworks created by students from the Design and Art program.

During the first semester of the first year, Design and Art students participate in the WUP (Warm-Up Program). The WUP introduces them to various methodologies, techniques, and approaches. It establishes the foundational skills and perspectives on which they will build their artistic exploration and practice. Inspired by this idea of "warming up" and pushing boundaries, we developed a visual identity that embodies the sense of work-in-progress, enthusiasm, and a hint of competition. For this, we drew formal inspiration from racing competitions, reflecting the energy and momentum of this phase of their artistic journey.
